Jo and Ronnie Wood

Jo Wood is formerly known as Ronnie Wood's other half but since 1989 she was diagnosed incorrectly with a serious illness, her jouney has then followed a very organic and natural bath and over the years the oragnic skin care range has been developed.

After being a model since 1972 she has shown herself to bene a keen supporter and ambassador for all things natura l and organic. Jo Wood has been both a model , the face of the Sun paper in the seventies and a presenter in prime time television slots.

Jo Wood is a strong family person with four children- Jamie, Jesse, Leah and Tyrone, and 4 grandchildren. The Wood family have lived in both New York and Los Angeles and are now firmly settled with homes in London and Co Kildare, Ireland.

Jo Wood goes Organic

Jo’s personal journey was after her diagnosed illness she started to follow an all-organic diet and this diet helped her health improve. Jo's fascination gradually took her family notjust down the organic diet route but all things organic including organic skincare products.

Aftre Jo had found it very diffiulcy to locate organic skin care products she decided that she had to make them herself, she began mixing her own oils for her own personal use, family and friends in what Jo now fondly refers to as her ‘home laboratory’, in 2005 Jo Wood launched the aptly named Jo Wood Organics, a sophisticated and decadent range of organic bath and body care products.

Over the years the Jo Wood Brand 'Jo Wood Organics' has expanded and amoung the organic and natural skin care inductry is seen as a leading brand.

Organic Bath Oils : Usiku and Amka

The Jo Wood range contains a number of quality organic skin care products, we love the Usiku organic body soap and the Langa Exfoliating Salt Scrub but our favourite will be the Usiku Oganic Bath Oil and the Amka Organic Bath Oil.

The Amka Bath Oil, contains Iranian rose otto and Egyptian jasmine, this gives bright fresh top notes of neroli and bergamot; it is an energetic and spontaneous Jo Wood Perfume. Green mandarin and sweet orange blossom add a fresh and vibrant layer above a soft and spicy base of cedarwood.

The Usiku Organic Bath Oil contains a warm and sensual perfurme and has a fresh vibrant edge, its fragrance make it good for both men and women. The fragrance has high notes of rosemary and pine needle, it has a spicy hint of cardamom and hot ginger; a complex heart of coriander, and clove; and an aromatic, woody base of Moroccan cedarwood, patchouli and vetiver

AMKA – a delicate floral & citrus fragrance.

Amka means “to wake” in Swahili
With a romantic heart of Iranian rose otto, Egyptian jasmine and bright fresh top notes of neroli and bergamot, Amka is a fragrance of energy and spontaneity. Green mandarin and sweet orange add a fresh, vibrant layer, and the whole combination is founded in a soft, spicy base of cedarwood.

USIKU – a sensual spicy, woody & earthy fragrance
Usiku means “night” in Swahili
Warm and sensual fragrance with a fresh, vibrant edge, Usiku combines top notes of rosemary and pineneedle with a spicy hit of cardamom and hot ginger. A complex heart of coriander, clove and clary sage give way to the aromatic woody aromas of Moroccan cedarwood, patchouli and vetiver. Earthy and sophisticated, this is a scent for men and women alike.

TULA – an exotic big white floral fragrance
Tula means “quiet” in Xhorsa An exotic heart of frangipani and jasmine, on an ylang and sandalwood base with a hint of green, anise notes.

LANGA – a zesty and sharp citrus fragrance
Langa means “sunshine” in Xhorsa
Fresh, top notes of oranges and Sicilian lemon on floral heart of neroli. Nesting on a cedarwood and vanilla base.
